Glycol and the proper amounts and types are important to protecting your chiller and extending its useful life. The most common type of glycol recommended is propylene glycol with inhibitors. Inhibited glycol adds freeze protection and also is resistant to bacteria and will keep your pump seals lubricated. American Chillers sells inhibited propylene glycol in 5 or 55 gallon containers. Amchill offers premixed glycol diluted to your specification is available.
