High Tech. Industrial Chiller for US Navy

The United States Navy recently chose American Chillers and Cooling Tower Systems Inc. to supply a redundant chiller system to cool a sophisticated Radar Systems laboratory at a Naval base in Indiana. The chiller was designed to provide process cooling to three laboratories and contained American Chillers Magnum Microprocessor controls to tightly control the chilled water supply and return temperatures, provide detailed analytics on many chiller functions, to turn the chiller on/off remotely and to provide a series of alarms and system automatic dialer in case of fault. The chiller was engineered with redundant pump and compressor systems to provide back up in case of system failure without creating down time at the facility.

This Naval chiller is similar to a chiller that American Chillers supplied to the US Navy for a weapons systems laboratory in 2013 that also had a free cooling / economizer system included for energy savings.
