A special thank you to Sonic Drive-in in Calhoun, Louisiana for their recent purchase of an American Chiller for their multiple Ice Cream Machines.

This Sonic location reached out to replace their existing chiller. American Chillers made the rooftop replacement chiller with an interior alarm panel. The chiller is servicing multiple ice cream machines at the store.

Chillers are an important part of every Sonic Drive-in location as frozen drinks (slushies) and ice cream represent a big part of the restaurant chains revenue.

With multiple machines, this Sonic location purchased a 7.5 ton package chiller. The chiller supplied includes a large glycol buffer tank and dual stage compressor, which together will not only handle the capacity required on a hot, busy day, but also will help reduce electrical usage and costs during non-peak times.

American Chillers are engineered to run with minimum down-time, made with readily available parts for faster servicing and are built so they are easily serviced. The easier we make it on the service contractor, the less down time.
